An Indian farmer generally lives in a small mud house in the village. His house is simple and often not very clean. Many villages still have poor drainage systems, so the narrow lanes become muddy during the rainy season. The surroundings are not always healthy, but the farmer adjusts to these conditions and continues his daily work.

His Dress

The dress of an Indian farmer is very simple. He usually wears a dhoti, kurta, and a cap or turban. His clothes are made of rough and inexpensive cloth. He cannot afford costly or fashionable dresses because his income is very limited. His simple dress reflects his humble life.
